What’s NOT Working in 2008

Hey folks,

Tim Mai here!  I am so excited to be joining myHouseDeals.com as a mentor.  My role is to bring you valuable real estate investing tips and the best real estate training available today.  I am here to make sure you get the most relevant and up-to-date information that’s out there, and my mission won’t be completed until you are the most deal-efficient, competition-shredding powerful investing machine in your area.  You will be hearing a lot from me in the upcoming weeks and I’d like to start today by talking to you about the power of education and information.  I know how important education is in the industry.  My own success in real estate is due to me dedicating time and cash to learning the ins and outs of the business.  And I didn’t stop training after I completed a few deals.  You see, my philosophy is that you can never know too much, so still today I make sure to always stay current by reading books and attending seminars and workshops.

I’d say it’s especially important to stay informed today.  And that’s one of the reasons why Doug invited me to join him in bringing you real estate investing resources.  Today’s real estate market is constantly changing and a lot of what used to work well just doesn’t cut it anymore.  Are good opportunities still out there?  Of course they are, but you shouldn’t expect to use the same techniques from a year ago to take advantage of them.  Since the subprime meltdown, new laws have been passed and guidelines have changed – the latest being the Housing and Economic Recovery Act just signed by the president.  The new laws are only one aspect of why the way you do business needs to adapt to this new reality.  More than ever before in our lifetime, we now have a real estate market with GOLDEN opportunities for investors.  To find them you need to know what works, and what doesn’t.

That’s why I think it’s really important that you be on the webinar this Wednesday when I discuss what’s NOT working in 2008, and what strategies you can use that WILL work for you.  On the webinar I’ll tell you how the new laws affect your real estate investing, and what techniques to use and avoid to get the most out of your deals.  I recorded a very short video to give you a better idea of what I’ll be discussing with you on the webinar this Wednesday:

As you all know, I am devoted family man and full-time father so I wanted to introduce you to my youngest son Austen right off the bat.  I hope you enjoyed the video.

This webinar is going to be awesome!  You have to be there!  I have set aside some time on Wednesday to answer YOUR specific real estate investing questions, so start thinking of some questions you’d like to ask me.

The webinar takes place this Wednesday, August 13th at 5:00PM PT / 6:00PM MT / 7:00PM CT / 8:00PM ET.

Because you’ll be getting such invaluable one-on-one time with me, we had to limit the number of spots available for Wednesday’s call.  Make sure to register before they all run out — Sign up for the FREE webinar now!

I will see you on Wednesday.

To Fun, Fortune, & Freedom!

MyHouseDeals was founded in April of 2005 and has since provided information on thousands of bargain-priced properties with over $7 Billion in equity (and growing!) In addition to property lists, we help investors succeed by providing valuable tools, resources and education. Most of the properties on MyHouseDeals are single-family houses. Many of these properties are wholesale deals, which are for sale by other investors. Others are motivated seller leads, which are for sale by homeowners who are often in a bad situation. These properties are typically discounted by far greater amounts than bank foreclosures.
